My vehicle was in need of a little TLC and so I decided to give it a fairly thorough cleaning. No before or during pics; unfortunatly the camera was left in my wife's purse and she was away at work for the majority of the process. *The vehicle was washed using Duragloss 901 and Eurow lambswool using the TBM. *Tires were cleaned using Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner and Z***l Wheel Brush and dressed with Hi-Temp Premium Wet Look tire dressing. *Wheels were cleaned using P21s Gel (Thanks Matrix), EZ Detail Brush and Z***l Wheel Brush. *The vehicle was clayed using Meg's C2000 clay and Meg's Last Touch. *Windows recieved 50/50 IPA wipedown. *The vehicle was polished using UF and white LC pad. *The vehicle was cleansed via Z***l HD Cleanse. *LSP was Swissvax Smaragd. *Interior surfaces recieved a Meg's APC wipedown followed by Hi-Temp White Luster dressing. *Carpets were shampooed using Hi-Temp Power Scrub. *Leather surfaces recieved a scrub using Lexol Leather Cleaner followed by Lexol Leather Conditioner. I am not to photography savvy and apologize if picture quality isn't up to par. Please feel free to offer any type of advice; particularly that concerning photography. Thanks for looking!
I used a hand pump sprayer to apply the Hi-Temp Power Scrub, worked it in using an interior brush, rinsed with another hand pump sprayer filled with water and extracted it all with a Shopvac. To make the lines I used a 3M squeegee (sanding block) to brush the carpet; I've also heard of people using credit cards, etc.
Great job. I really like that color. I really like the look of all the lights on the car. Nice lines. Excellent work!!!
Really nice resutls IN and OUT. The interior looks new (nice carpet lines and thanks for solving the mystery of how to do this). That Swiss wax has some real depth to it. BTW, what year and what is the name of the color? I haven't noticed it before and its very cool.
Great job & nice car too. I took the STS (2007) for a test drive a couple of years ago & was very impressed. It's a very technologically advanced vehicle.
Use a soft bristles brush, gives you lines and draws up the moisture so the carpets dry a little faster
That looks great. I love the interior, good work. Great gloss you left on the paintwork too.:thumb: Also not a great fan of those wheels on an otherwise nice car.
LOL....sorry bro I didn't realize it was your personal car, I just assumed it belonged to a client. No hard feelings. I stand by what I said though : .
Beautiful car and a great color to boot. Really like the lines of this Cadillac. Not a big fan of the wheels though, not really into chrome wheels. Plans on some others soon?
Not at the moment; I purchased these last spring. Additionally, my wife drives this vehicle more often than me and they appeal to her.
