Well I finally had a day off and wanted to do a quick detail on the vehicles. This was not a full detail just a paint prep for the winter months. I originally had souveran on both vehicles but with about 13" of snow the past week it was pretty dead so my process was. 2005 Accord Wash - ONR 2 bucket Clay - Blue magic Polish - Pink Moose White pad @ 5 LSP - Collinite 845 Wheels/windows - Opti seal 2006 MDX Wash - ONR 2 bucket Clay - Blue Magic Polish - Poli Seal white pad @ 5 LSP - Jetseal Wheels/windows - opti seal Both vehicles received 2 coats of there chosen LSP to ensure coverage. I am going to moniter each of them to see which one lasts longer in the New England Weather.
Great work. I have really started using Poli Seal on light colored vehicles and had very good success. I haven't topped with JetSeal yet though. Wondering what you thought of the look of that combo?
in the beginning i was very impressed reminded me of ez glaze and m21 together but after taking pics and comparing to other LSPs jetseal had no depth but decent wetness/shine. I liked using it buffed very easy and did not streak. I really wanted a durable lsp that is why i went with it so if it lasts like it did on my wheels I will be happy for the summer i am planning megs 7/swissvax concours
Both vehicles look great :thumb: very nice reflection and a nice gloss to it too. My wife used to like the MDX....thank you for sharing...just curious what was the temperature when you did the ONR? Just curious that's all.
Beautiful work! It would have been interesting to do one with Collinite and the other with Jetseal and see a true life comparison between the two over the winter monts. A real SHOW DOWN so to speak!
