Well, it is titled as a GTO, but I spent the time (and money) to do the Holden VZ Monaro CV8 conversion. Now it looks like it did in Australia (except the right hand drive). Freshly detailed, but yeah I know. I hit a puddle on the way to my photo spot and did not notice it until after the pictures, so forgive the splash behind the drivers side front wheel well on the ground effect...lol I hope you like it!
That puddle ruined your car for the photoshoot. Just kidding, I can't even see what you are talking about, nice clean car :mounty:
As for products used on the car, the car was hand washed with PB car wash, clayed with a CG clay bar, I used Adams Swirl and Haze remover, Adam's fine machine polish and CG liquid carnauba sealer wax, then some CG quick detail. I will get some pictures up after the Supernatural and Red Mist application this weekend.
The conversion of a 2004 GTO to a 2004 VZ Monaro CV8 consists of the following: Front fascia - $1400 plus $350 paint = $1750 Hood - $650 plus $500 paint = $1150 Rear bumper - $450 plus paint $350 = $800 Side marker lights = $120 Holden badge kit - $145 Steering wheel badge = $25 Door sill badges = $25 Tail lights = $320 Brakes = $1400 (you can do these cheaper, but I went with better rotors, pads and SS lines) Gauge cluster = $650 (this can be done cheaper as well, but I bought a spare cluster) That's about it, aside from the work to do it all, about $6385. My new brakes will be back from powder coating this week and the new rotors/pads and SS lines will be installed next weekend.
