Rotary: I broke out the Rotary, OP, and a black 6.5 LC pad from this point on. Ahh, perfection. 50/50: After: Day 2. I work up at the crack of dawn to get the detail done before the football games started. I knew I had a long day ahead of me. Before: After: It's always important to brush your pad with a stiff brush in between panels to avoid dusting and the pad gumming up. After LSP: Roll out: Unfortunately, day two was rainy. I was lucky to get a break in the clouds to take the pictures.
Nice work, I have had my eye on UNO as I was pleased when I tested HD Protect and looking for a new polish for my hard cleared VW. Just wondering how aggressive the orange pad and UNO compared to SIP/106FA combo in term of paint removal.
Looks like fun! Every time I see one all I can think about is what a PITA the hood looks like to polish... did you just polish right over the ribs?
The ribs actually make a nice place to section off. A 6.5" pad fits perfectly in between them. I polished the ribs by hand, mainly just to remove light watermarks. That's the conclusion I came to. I'm open to any tips for application.
