2002 Viper ACR Polish Only with more to come when I have a change to finish it. Polisher - Flex XC 3401 VRG Pads - Corbra Cross Cut Pads Polish - Menzerna Micro Polish I received my Flex on Friday and tried it out last weekend. All's I can say is I love this machine. Very powerful, comfortable and well balanced. I was going to use my Metabo for part of the detail but I ended up using the Flex for the whole thing. Not to many cars have more curves then a generation II Viper and the new Corba Cross Cut pads did a nice job. The car have never been polished before but it has been very well taken care of and only had light swirls. I love Menzerna Micro Polish. Takes care of light swirls fast and leaves next to no dust. I used distilled water for the pad conditioner. Pictures after Polish Only. I hope to finish it up this weekend. Gary

Great to see you here Gary! Too bad I cannot see the pics at work since they're stored on Autopia and they block that here. But I'm sure the work is EXCELLENT as usual!
Very Nice Gary! I wish I had one more vehicle so I could be polishing one while driving the other. But I think you have more than one extra.:shead::giggle:
:druling: :druling: gorgeous vehicle wow and the colour looks great, your other Viper is Black right? Oh never mind just looked at your avatar hahahahaha  Man that looks great and I sure have missed seeing your garage and car collection buddy :thumb: Look forward to see it it all done..oh question for you, how hard is the clear coat on the Viper? Just wondering. Thank you for sharing with us eace:
Thanks AL-53 joe p, P1et, RussECU, LanceM, Nica, Duratys, sneek, Calgarydetail, MotorCity, FMINUS, and klumzypinoy. I appreciate everyone's nice comments. AL, I didn't think you liked Red. The Flex if very nice you need to try it. P1et, I will load the pictures form another server is you like. Just let me my old friend. RussECU, I only have one car for each day of the week. Nica, I recently sold the red Viper with silver stripes to a car collector in Japan for a nice profit so I had to buy another one. The clear coat of the Viper is pretty hard my not as hard as my wife's MB or my Z06. The 08 Z06 is the black one. Duratys, I just got the Flex last Friday and I wanted to try it out. I have used my metabo a lot. Calgarydetail , I have some Souveran Paste and Wolfgang DGPS I'm goint to put on it this weekend. I know you're not a big Souveran fan but I like the way it looks on red, black and yellow. FMINUS, I have tried 106FF on my wife's white MB E500. MotorCity and the rest of all my old friends. How come none of you guys told me you were all over here. If it wasn't for my buddy pirex who recently told me about the site I would have never known about it. He didn't mention that all you guys were over here. Gary
Nice, so a collector in Japan huh nice good for you, profit is profit and besides you got your self a nice Viper again :thumb: So Metabo has been treating you good Gary? Oh and that is a lovely Vett :thumb: I never cared for these vehicles till I detailed a few of them and let me tell you I have a better respect for the Vett's now and I can totally understand why people enjoy these vehicle. Hey Gary, what ever happend to your friend that purchased that GT-3 and modified it to race it? Is it all done?..um..got pictures?
Nica, My friend who deals in exotic cars with the GT3 was in contact with the collector from Japan who was looking for my exact car which was an 02 GTS. I was able to sell my old viper and buy the one I have now and pocket amost 20K. They are both 02's but the new one is an ACR and had an MSRP for amost 90k when new. My old GTS had a MSRP of 79K. My new one has a few more miles on it but still only had 4,900 miles on it when I purchased it in December. It's in great shape. I purchased it from the the original owner. The worst part about it was that the car was in Nasville and I took my enclosed car trailer to go get it. There and back was 1,800 miles which did in 2 days with bad weather on the way back to Florida. My friend finished the GT3 and had it shipped to new Zealand for the race. He finished 2nd overall and 1st in his class. He had a lot of graphics put on the car besides all of the modifications he did. I saw the car a few times before he shipped it out but I never had my carmera with me. He still has not had it shipped back to the US. I'll see if I can get some pictures of it. He's from New Zealand and goes back there alot.
Sounds like you got your self a great Viper there Gary :applause: and to profit $20K that is very impresive. Look forward to see more pictures of it and I agree the colour is something else :druling: :druling: As for the GT3 finished 2nd overall that's impresive wow that's quite the acomplishment if you ask me. It's incredable how hard these GT3 are to find, I've made some calls to a few dealers and I didn't realise how difficult it is to get these vehicles? I'd love to see picture of the end result on the vehicle, I remember you posted some pictures of it when the modifications were just starting, gorgeous just gorgeous machinery. Thanks for sharing Gary eace:
NICA, His is a GT3 RS which is even harder to find then a GT3. The RS's have been selling for a lot more then they're worth IMO.
Gary so glad to see you here bro. Man that is an awesome ride and you do some awesome work! Like FMINUS said that's my car right there! One day, one day, but for now I'll have to stick to the Stealth, the "baby viper". I really love the Viper Gary and can't wait to see more posts by you!
