Paint: Wash - Poorboy's SS&S Polish - menzerna micro polish with Flex XC3401VRG & Corbra Cross Cut Pads Sealant - Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant Wax - Pinnacle Souveran Paste The interior, wheels and wells were done before I polished it. Leather: Wash - Connolly Leather Cleaner Conditioner - Connolly Hide Care Carpet: Clean - DP Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner Wheels: Cleaner - P21s Wheel Cleaner Wash - Poorboys SS&S Protectant - Klasse AIO I must admit I thought it looked great after I polished it but I don't think the sealant and wax did much more for it as far as looks are concerned. Just a little more depth and wetness. I think I'll try out some swissvax or Zymol next time. That looks great! I like how you take the wheels off to do the wheel wells properly too. I've always thought of doing that, just have yet to do it!
great job! you could eat off the inside of those wheels! should of included some before shots. what kind of camera and how long did it take?
Nice Red paint Gary..sure looks fine...I like red..you know that..and I like your red paint...sure would look good with the secret sealant...lol.... Great Job gary..real nice....when I come down this summer..take me for a ride.. AL
Very nice Gary! Love how clean the whole car is! Can`t say it made a big different with sealent and wax. But I can see some extra depth and wetness, maybe not so mutch that I would like to see. I would love to hear your toughts on swissvax
Thanks exoticguy, Pats300zx, MrPolished&Waxed, TexasTB, AL- 53, Whip Appeal Neal, Joe P, pirex & HighEndDetail. I appreciate you nice comments especially coming from all you great detailers. Here's a semi-before shot of the wheels. It was take after initially spraying the wheels with P21s wheel cleaner and scrubbing and washing them with a brush when they were still on the car. Here's some of the wheel well after washing them the best I could when the wheels were still on the car. I purchased the car from the original owner right after Christmas. It had only 4,900 miles on the clock . The guy took pretty good care of it. It was the first time it had ever been polished but it only had moderate swirling. I did all the work over a period of time. I also changed the oil (10 quarts of Mobil 1) some other fuild air filter etc. I've probably spent 4-5 working on the car since I had it. I'm never in a hurry when I work on my cars. I enjoy doing it and just take my time. It's a nice change of pase from my normal work. Al, I'm still waiting for a free sample of your secret formula so I can test it out and send it to the lab to have it analized. pirex, I do want to try some swissvax. I'm probably get some and try it on my black Z06 first. MrPolished&Waxed - The pictures were taken with a Nikon 8700.
Awesome shine on the red finish, how bout when your done some outside shots to see to finish please. Hope to see you there at DF this yr!:applause:
:sorry: Sorry Joe, most of the time I'm thinking one thing and my fingers are typing something else. I need to read things over and make sure they say what I intended. I ment to type Joe Pimp. :headbang:
OK once I stopped drooling Gary I was able to respond. The Viper looks incredible, but I would love to see what it would look like with a coat of Jetseal and a layer of Zymol Concours or even some Rubbish Boys Original Edition! The car looks phenomenal and you take every single part of the car to a new level!!
:druling: OMG Gary outstanding job! You took your time and got it perfect! What they said great wetness and nice depth! Of course Love the wheels :giggle:Congrats again on the new car!
Gary..after that teaser shot the other day, I was looking forward to seeing the job..you NEVER fail to impress..having the luxury of time is great, but only when combined with incredible skill!!
