He bought it used and had not had a chance to clean it yet. A little something on the door  no problem :giggle: The carpets were in great shape!!! But I gave them the once over just in case. Since it was going to rain for several days I got started in the rain at nearly dark  Darn I didn’t get any before of the wheels  But somehow I remembered the wheel wells :shred: Here is the monster before. I did it by hand with Klasse AIO, then applied the sealant. What does everyone else do? I am not sure what this is but I didn’t do it!!!! He had an EZ brush and told me ….oh yeah…you have to use it to get behind the face of the rims. I almost fell over :giggle: He even takes his rims off his BMW to clean and glaze them :thud: I told him about the two bucket method and grit guard, he loved it :headbang: He was telling me about a problem he was having with his boat seats and a few other areas. I told him about ARO and sent him home with a sample of DG 501 :headbang: Darn I forgot the engine pics here ya go :giggle:
Very nice turn around Tonay and I'm enjoying your write ups more and more :thumb: You asked about the roof, what I do is I just tape it off and polish just like the rest of the vehicle...you'll need to have a pad that is at least 5inch the biger it is the harder it is to polish the roof but that's just the way I do it. Hope this helps and sounds like the owner know a bit about detailing that's good.
great job tonya... you are very good with interior detailing.. love the way the exterior trims and chrome....
Girl you can use #501 anyway you want...Use what you like...Fantastic job....Love the reflections shots...:applause:
Nice job Tonya... It really is fun to read your posts and see the progress you have and continue to make... :headbang::headbang::applause:
Yep! He takes care of his cars and it shows:applause2: Yes you may :giggle: However I didn't really keep track. I didn't want to get discouraged since this thing was a beast :giggle: I did reduce my tape time down to 18 minutes from everyones suggestions. Plus... I stopped going around the vehicle...mmm say... 50 times with my Brinkman checking for tar and things. :rollinglaugh: Thanks! Thank you and you are welcome :giggle: Thank you! Thanks! Thank you! IMO the interior is what the customer see most. They don't notice the things that we do on the exterior. So I always do my best on the interior, just my opinion  Thanks. I really was not sure what to do. I just new there was no way I was using my PC on a ladder with those trenches :thud: That would have had disaster written all over it  Thank you!
Hey Tonya, what machine are you using now to polish? DA? If so when are you steping up to the rotary?
