Hi Guys, I'm a beginner/hobbyist detailer and have learned tons from this forum. I finally finished my first full detail on my pride and joy, a 2002 Mercedes SLK32 AMG, done up with all the goodies I got from Phil @ Detailer's Domain. Thanks to you him and others on this forum for helping me achieve these results. I don't have before pictures, which is a big no-no here, I know, I'm sorry. looking good mate bit of a blast from the past that supercharged engine i never knew that model came with projector headlights. The last of that shape here had HID reflector headlights...... my mum has a facelift 230
They don't... IIRC. Mine are aftermarket projectors with HID bulbs in them. The grille is also aftermarket.
looks good for a first attempt. i have a suggestion tho. next time try using 106 with a black pad and sealant with a blue pad.
Hmmm, I was told to use the black pad (softest) for the wax/sealant step. The blue pad I have says for final polish on the back of it. Maybe the colors are different for my line of pads?
Fantastic! Great selection of products, and I like the pics. Are those the stock wheels? Very sharp looking Mercedes.
The wheels are updated 18" AMGs which comes on the SLK55 AMG for 2009+, I believe. The SLK32 AMG came stock with 17" AMGs. Thanks for the compliments!
The yellow lools great for that car. Good job and good selection of quality products. I was thinking those headlights were retrofitted.
