Guys, This car belongs to a co-worker. He liked the detail I performed on his Lime Green Stang so much that he brought me his wife's car. It's a one-owner vehicle with the sport package. I always been an Audi fan (not so much of their reliability though) and this one is in really nice shape for 120k. I swapped vehicles with the owner and spent some time driving this awesome machine. I can see myself driving one of these soon ...:worship2: Wash & Clay CG's CWC (first time using it ... love it) Zaino Yellow Clay ONR as clay lube LSP CG's EZ-Creme Collinite 845 OCW Optimum Instant detailer between layers Miscs P21s Wheel Cleaner Zaino Tire Gloss CG's Bare Bones Stoner's Trim Shine Rain X Interior Lexol Leather Cleaner/Woolite 8:1 ratio and Magic Eraser ... :yikes: LGM with Folex for the carpets and mats Vinylex Zaino Leather in a Bottle EZ-Creme gave the 845 really good gloss. It hides the swirls pretty good (this one had plenty of them). I also tried to use vinegar to remove water etching, but I didn't have any luck. This car is in need of a 2 or 3 step. Before Pics (I'm sorry for the lack of before pics and the quality of them. I'm buying a new camera soon) This is how I received the car ... fairly clean I don't know why Audi used cheap plastics for the door handles ... every A4 has paint missing on these handles This lady loves parking under trees:fs: Afters ... My fav shot Collinite 845 ... I love this wax!! Interior after pics coming tomorrow ... Any feedback is appreciated!! :mounty:
looks great gianni! did you finally figure out that fuel fill cover, lol? the after shots look really nice, and the beading shots are nice too.
Thanks bill ... I felt so retarded when I called you for that, but I spent a few minutes looking for the freakin' button and I couldn't find it. I was pressing on the gas door and it wouldn't open at all. I did find the button for the interior light on the b-pillar (thought that was really weird).
Interior pics as promised ... I don't know why the steering wheel shows different shades ... It's completely protected and I can't see different shades ... I apologize for the bad pic
Thanks for the comments guys ... I went above and beyond for this one. The owner has a heated garage that he is considering letting me use it for a few jobs before the winter time. He doesn't want money, so I'm offering another wash on both of his cars before the winter gets here. BTW ... I had a lot of issues cleaning these leather seats. I used woolite and mr.clean's magic eraser and the dirt was instantly gone. I was extremely careful and I didn't experience any dye transfer. I can tell this is high-quality leather 'cause it has never been cleaned/treated and it's holding up great.
Bravo dude!! I am so glad you brought that interior back to a decent life, those seats looked rough. Your glaze/wax choice looks great! How did the customer react?
The wife is thinking about buying a new one and selling this one ... I told him I would buy it on the spot. It has a few issues that I can fix and then I can put some RS4 replicas ftw!!
He hasn't seen it yet ... we swapped cars and he's gonna see it 1st thing in the morning. This interior needs the 2 fronts seats redone and it would look brand spankin' new.
Ha definitely dude, I have a feeling with all these extra details your doing that your gonna have some spare change to pick up a PC or Makita pretty soon :mounty:
Looks great!! And, the beading shot will make a great avatar!!!! Guess you got lucky and Mother Nature provided a little spritzing seal for you!!??
