got 200 bucks from an extended family member and i want to spend it!
i am thinking about a pressure washer or a rotary and product.
i really want a pressure washer and foam cannon, cause my pc has not stopped me from removing any swirls yet. but if i dont get the pw i could buy lots of product :headbang:

    any suggestions is appreciated

    Id go with a rotary.

I'd go with a pressure washer and foam cannon because you will use this on virtually every detail as opposed to the rotary that you might not use on every detail. I would also consider increasing my product arsenal before jumping onto a rotary. Just my .02.

the adapter i would need is a karcher lance to 1/4"

i am thinking about this foam cannon does anyone have it?
does it have an adjustment for ratio of solution?
do you think i should spend the extra money on a cam spray?

hmm...well here in Calgary we can't wash our vehicles outside, well we can but not allowed to use soap  so a PW was never on my priority list, but now it totally is.

The thing is that either tool you will use rotary or PW, but if you have never used a rotary you'll need to give your self a bit of time to get the hang of it but once you get the hand of the rotary you will enjoy it. PW well it saves time and when detailing anything you can do to speed up the process all for the better. Well what ever you decide to go with I'm sure you will enjoy it.....oh and the tittle totally had me thinking I was going to win $200 :lol2:

Those fittings are for two different ways of attaching the foam cannon and the extension lance to the gun,one way is with the quick connect couplers and the other way is with twist connect sockets.
If I loose one of the fittings I wouldn't have to scramble to find or order one.
I'm dying to use my new PW and cannon but it's not possible with the cold weather and Snow on the ground:rollingpin:.

can you link me to the fittings i need. the twist type bayonet is the one i have.
i am buying the cannon from pressure washer parts

I don't know much about the bayonet type but I've read on Autopia site some of its members found a way to connect a foam cannon to a Karcher PW.
If you have an extra bayonet fitting and lance ,you could cut it in half and thread the end of it to fit a 1/4" FNPT thread like this guy did:

i am going to cut the end of the high pressure nozzel and thread the pipe. then i am going to teflon a quick connector and finally epoxy it on. then i ll get some quick connect nozzels and a quick connect for the foam cannon

well i decided before i cut the wand apart why not take it apart.

    and to my surprise
    [IMG]

it is a garden hose fitting :gasp: . that means all i need is a 3/4" to 1/4" adapter and i can connect my foam cannon :headbang:

Perfect ,I'm sure you are relieved ,now you don't have to cut anything.
It is really easy to find fittings for that size.
    Congratulations on your new purchase.:mounty:
