2 more orders!

Well I got a couple of orders while I was away on vacation last week!:applause2: First up was ANOTHER order from Ken at Autowerkes Exclusive. If you haven't had the chance to deal with Ken you need to jump on it. He knows his stuff and gives great unbiased advice. After talking to him for quite a while we worked out my order. I asked a ton of questions and Ken patiently answered them all. It was fun putting a voice to a screen name too! Well I had gotten in my first order from Ken some of the Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner and really loved the stuff so I sold off my P21s and my CGs Sticky Gel and asked Ken if I could get 2 Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaners in 5L containers. He obliged and I'm stoked. This stuff is safe for all wheels and cleans really well. It foams like no tomorrow and as most know I'm a foam whore! I was running low on my DG 501 so I got a bottle of that along with 2 Raceglaze wheel brushes (can't wait to try these out), and the best part of the order, a pot of Raceglaze 55. I had a small sample that I used on my bimmer and was so floored by the look that I went and ordered a pot from Ken.



While I was on vacation I knew I needed some stuff from Majestic Solutions and would be back this past Monday in Raleigh when the plane landed. Figured I would get it then but realized the Sunday before I left that they would be closed that Monday for Memorial Day. Well Damn now what was I going to do...I know call up my good buddy krshultz! I called Karl and asked if he could get the stuff for me and then I would meet him in Raleigh after the plane landed and get it from him. Karl hooked me up and we looked like we were doing a drug deal at the Olive Garden that day, LOL! I got a gallon of the Ultragloss which is the best maint. shampoo on the market in my opinion, 2 gallons of Super Foam, 1 gallon of Power Prep and 2 bug bricks. I love 2 oz of Super Foam and an ounce of Power prep in my foam cannon to strip everything but the paint. And like it says the Super Foam really foams and as my above statement I'm a foam whore!



Well back from vacation and ready to put these bad boys to work!

JL..nice order there! I have an order from Ken en route. I realized last night when I was looking at the confirmation that I forgot to order one of those wheel brushes..I'm pissed b/c I wanted one! It's not worth the shipping to do another order just for that and I am all stocked up on things right now (not to mention I still can't do a car b/c of my knee). Congrats on your order.

I hope it wouldnt offend you to ask how much the AG custom wheel cleaner 5L is? I have been interested in this for a while...if you dont want to answer i understand

 

Ken told me it was like $40cad (if I remember correctly--sad because he just told me about an hour ago :thud: ). I'll be ordering some as soon as he gets in, I LOVE this stuff.

 

Dude, you're on such a tear that you buy detailing stuff while you're on vacation. That's unheard of. :lol:

Those bug brick things are the bomb. I'm glad you introduced me to them - nothing better for dead bugs and road grime than those things. If you've got a Pep Boys out your way, pick up some of that Surf City Grime Destroyer stuff. It's a nice thick gel, and with that and a bug brick, you've got a pretty unstoppable cleaning team.

 

Try the Duragloss Bug Remover as well. So far its the only one I've tried that works really well.

 

Nice haul there, JL. I really like Ultra Gloss myself, love that super glossy look it gives me, but feel it needs more slickness, so I always mix 1 oz of Ultlra Gloss and 1 oz of Shampoo Plus to make that perfect slick and glossy combo. And I have to admit, I love it!
Speaking of Autoglym wheel cleaner, is that liquid or gel? I have to admit, I still like CG Sticky gel, works well 1:1 for maintaince wheel cleaner, and when I need extra power - you just cannot bead Megs Wheel Brightener. And speaking of Raceglaze 55, let us know how you like it. I know you are a huge fan of RBOE, and this might be a tough one.

 

Superfoam is a great product. That stuff really foams!! UltraGloss is grrreat stuff!

I've gotta get some of that RG55 soon!

d00t was right its around $40 Cad. for it. I used up all of my 16 oz container I got from Ken and had to have more of it! I was almost afraid to ask how much for 5L and when he told me I told him to make it 2!

It was because of Cooter that I tried Superfoam in the first place. He sent me some in a sample trade we did and I wasn't impressed at first but that was when my Karcher was crapping out on me. I bought my new PW and used it again and was like :worship2:. Oh and Heath you have to get some of the RG55.

Supercharged the Custom wheel cleaner is a liquid but it foams up like crazy and the more you agitate it the more it foams. Cleans really well as good if not better than P21s or CGs Sticky Gel.

Some great stuff there JL, always good to just consolidate and only keep what is NEEDED because it works!
