I received a call Monday afternoon from the RV lot. They need another RV washed, I was told just do it liek I did the last one, this one is in better shape. Yea well I got there at 8am today and it was dirty, usual black spots and very rusted lug nuts. My "wash" turned into a mini detail. I washed the RV, cleaned all the windows, cleaned and polished the wheels, used steel wool on the lug nuts, cleaned and dressed the tires, cleaned out all the compartments, cleaned the batteries and a quick clean on the engine.

Nice turnaround on those lug nuts. Did you use steel wool along with the Megs metal polish or just mf's?

Nice work, but yes, too big for me! How long did you spend on this? And how did you do the rusty nuts?

Thank you. I used Steel wool then wiped with NXT metal polish and a tooth brush, cleaned up with MF towels then wiped with DG 501

Lol it really is not bad when only doing a wash lol

Only part of the interior I do is the cockpit, the rest is like a house I leave that to the maids lol. For a wash and cock pit clean I get $150+ this is my second one and it was 4 1/2hrs, I charged more for the engine and compartments to be cleaned.

Thank you, yes climbing on and off the ladder is not much fun lol

Thank you, this one was 4 1/2 hrs. The rust came right off the lugs it was only an additional 10 minutes a wheel so not bad. I used Steel wool then wiped with NXT metal polish and a tooth brush, cleaned up with MF towels then wiped with DG 501. The engine was cleaned with TGrime Destroyer and Zep citrus brushed quickly and sprayed with water, used the leaf blower to dry, then CD-2 not long at all, the batteries were cleaned teh same way, the other compartments I used the blower, grime destroyer and ONR.

thats some serious amount of matel there matey nice turn round.
ive done a few large static caravans largest was 12" by 36" with a veranda, skirting etc, i charged for a moderate correction on the paint, sealant and full interior detail which is more like domestic house cleaning btw £450 not sure what that is in us dollar but it was a tidy sum of cash for just under 2 days in the sunshine.:thumb:

Scottbt that is about $800 US. After these 2 the owner of the lot is talking about a wash and wax on another and a full detail on another.
