What is the difference between 1z Einszett Cockpit Premium and Cockpit Lemon? Is the cockpit premium only for interior plastics? And the Lemon is used for say a vinyl dash and door panels? 1Z Einszett Cockpit Lemon 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium Interior Plastic Cleaner
So if I get premium I should be fine with cleaning dash and door panels? Should I use a protectant over it on the dash? Somethin with a UV protectant?
Cockpit premium contains ingredients that protect against fading due to heat but does no have UV protection. Most automotive glass today already filter most UV rays anyway so you'll be fine. If you still want to top CP with something with UV protection you can try Megs QID or Sonus Total Eclipse as both give the same mate finish as CP. The Sonus is a bit pricey though.
Also, if you need a little extra cleaning action, try 1z Plastic + Vinyl. It has more cleaning ability for getting thos stubborn shoe scuff marks off the bottom of where your doors are getting in. Not sure what the technical name is, but it's worth picking up a bottle to have in your back pocket.
Yes, sir!!! Gummi is da bomb! Just make sure you can leave the car doors open a while after applying it so the weatherstripping has a chance to dry.
If you're considering QID keep in mind 1Z CP seems to leave behind more protection than QID and seems to clean more too. A remarkable product...pretty much like ALL 1Z products.
Which ones? I have smelled perls and Glans and neither has a noticeable added smell like fruit, etc. It still seems more chemical than not. I have not sniffed my Paint Polish or Metallic Polish yet. CP does have a citrus smell.
