owner had never left his car with anyone alone ever ever, kinda meant alot to me that he trusted me with the car.. he left pretty satisfied though!
lens is a nikkor 28-85mm my process was, I sprayed her down with a power washer real thoroughly Mixed some meg's gold class wash in the detergent attachment and sprayed down again Washed the car with a sheepskin wash mitt with 2 bucket method Cleaned the wheels, with a wheel brush and some mf towels Dried the car down with a shammy and mf towels Polished with Meg's off the shelf ultimate compound Polished the Exhaust with Mother's Alum/Mag Polish Then waxed with Meg's nxt 2.0 Final wipedown with Meg's ultimate quik detailer.
Meg NXT 2.0 is a great LSP, does not get much attention around here though. The car looks great keep it up
haha indeed, satisfying to see the look on their face when they get it back yea ive always used nxt 2.0.. fits my budget and gets me good results =]
i looked through the site, so if im correct 901 for wash, 501 for the polish/cleaner topped off with 105 for protection, should i get the pre polish bonding agent?
=] i hope to get better and better, i ve always washed my car religiously, and now just started to explore detailing, it always amazes me the depth of any hobby or career, weather it be cars, photography, detailing... so little time to much to learn! will be placing an order for a gallon of each... dg 105,501,901,and 951 =] , ive read some threads saying its good for light colored cars, i have a pearl white and silver car, so i guess i can experiment on my own cars ^^
Looks good. However, you ONLY used Ultimate compound? With a machine or by hand? Either way, it's probably gonna to leave holograms that you should never leave on a car and always follow up.
i used a g110 da then wiped it off with a mf towel then put some nxt 2.0 on top same process i used on my own car 2 weeks later
