BTW ... what are the differences between gen 1 vs gen 2?

besides the obvious? shape, size, the 2nd gen has a larger easier to read screen. i think the 2nd gen might be smaller an slimmer, easier to pocket it.

    Hi,
I emailed them with the same question before I bought mine, this was their reply. Bob

    Good morning Bob,

Yes sir. It may not be as accurate, but I don't need absolute precision, just to know if it's thin, has a healthy amount of paint, or was repainted. It's still pretty accurate right?

Definitely hold onto that for me, and just give me a price and I'll pick it up sometime, I'm home from school till about the 11th.

^^I borrowed my friends 1st gen to check the paint of my new car. Worked well as it was fairly consistent. I think its worth it no matter which model you buy :)

I was wondering. Any canadians bought this and had it shipped via UPS? I know UPS charge a LOT for broker fees when they do deliver it to your house.

I know for a fact that they won't ship it thru USPS.

    Anyone? :) thanks!

The company that sells these here in the US is just right across the boarder in metro-Detroit. I know because when I purchased mine, I went and picked it up :)
