this was my moms vehicle.. bought it brand new in 1999.. over 170,000 miles now, never been garaged.. it did get parked in a car port for a couple years though.. now its basically the company vehicle and my dads transportation.. i wanted to use my Flex for the first time and today was the perfect day in so cal.. Deionized water Menz IP, orange pad Swissvax CF Swissvax Concorso left side uncorrected, right side corrected here you can see what i was dealing with all over ahh, much better more corrected, glassy paint took it outside to look for holograms.. found none after the cleaner fluid, i applied the concorso after the concorso, all glossy. and the odometer thanks for looking.. i love the flex so much more than my PC.. i gave the PC to my nextdoor neighbor :applause:
haha thanks.. it actually runs as good as it did on day 1.. new fuel pump, all sensors replaced, mass air flow sensor cleaned regularly, fuel filters changed every oil change.. we've kept it pretty sound..
i should be thanking you for telling me about the Flex all those months ago on the m3forum.. last time i polished this thing was in november with the pc.. i had to pass every panel twice.. this time the flex accomplished the job 1 pass on almost every panel, i had to do one of the front fenders twice because of some deeper scratches.. but man im amazed with this thing so far.. :applause:
you'd be surprised at just how little wax you use when you do it bare handed.. its not all getting soaked up by a pad.. ive done like 5 cars now and im not even 1/4 the way down the container.
Dude you've got that thing looking better than when it had 0 miles on the clock! Nice job and the Explorer looks great!
Wow great work on that car, one day I am going to be daring enought to apply wax by hand. The car looks amazing for 173000 on it!!!!!!!!!1
That is really fantastic, this shows that regardless of how many miles a vehicle has, with proper upkeep and the right products, you can drive it until the engine falls out and it still look phenomenal!
The Gold Class ones was the best!!! But I have noticed that they can be hit or miss: some are perfect, others are useless. I hate it, but that's why I have so many of them.
