great work scott, what a difference you made. Even that nasty brown can look decent with some work I guess Oddly enough, my Dad has a '73 450SL. He's a firefighter, and he got the car out of a fire. Had to rebuild it from the ground up, this was when I was a young. He even painted it himself, needless to say the paint is hideous now lol  I dont know what he sees in the car, but he loves it. Hes tried to talk himself into selling it like 4 different times, and he still has it. now the rat on the other hand...
Wow that's an old dead rat :gross: Lovely vehicle and man was that vehicle in rough shape wow, you can see it on the before pictures that you posted. Very nice turn around, I'm assuming single stage paint right. Thank you for sharing with us well done job :thumb:
Scott it is 4:30 AM I could not sleep, so it only made since to get on DB. THANKS! Now.... I will not be able to go back to sleep for fear of RAT nightmares :what: :gross: Great turnaround! Very impressive job! I love the last pic with the flag in the reflection of the hood. Congrats!
Nice job on that old Merc. That single stage will test your pad cleaning skills! Did you show the customer the rat? If he doesn't pay you, you can mail it to him!!!:giggle:
