2011 has been a great year! We have continued on the path of improving existing products including Optimum Tire Shine and Optimum Metal Polish at the beginning of the year, and more recently have revised Optimum Compound II, Polish II, and Finish using SMAT and as always little to no dusting. Another release was bringing Opticoat 2.0 out for consumer consumption and it has proved to be a revolution in protection!

    So what's next, you ask?

    New Improved Power Clean
Why improve on an already incredible formula? Because we can! Faster acting while remaining safe, the new version will blow you away. Get it now direct from Optimum or from our distributors in the next couple of weeks.

Awesome ... I was just about to order a gallon. My only issue with the "old" formula is that it had the tendency of drying my skin.

I always wear gloves when dealing with exterior cleaning, but I don't wear them when I clean interiors. I am always keeping an eye for texture changes in my interior plastics. Painted interiors plastics are terrible in Japanese cars.

Sadly I'm on the same boat as froboy. Judging from my past purchases, Optimum Car Wash is next on the list?

Will there be a way to tell a difference between the old and new Power Clean when it comes out?

Well the only complaint I have heard is the price, so now you have more options. I would estimate a 20% increase in cleaning ability while still remaining safe on all surfaces...So, you can dilute it more or maintain your current dilutions and get faster results.

We are constantly improving our lineup so this happens all the time. On the bright side, when our distributors start getting in the new stuff, they will likely reduce the price on an already killer product and since you already have a gallon you can use it more liberally in anticipation for the new version. ;)

PM sent, the ball is in your court!

    Soooo mean, shame on you!

It will likely still dry your skin as it "degreases." I spray it on, spread immediately and scrub with a brush, then wipe off with a damp MF. With this method, my direct contact is limited and I don't dry out.

The Car wash was improved not too long ago, so I know we don't have that in the works. The New Power Clean will have the "New Formula" sticker you all love, haha! I can't wait till we run out of those and just make new labels.

So I'm assuming the price drop on someone's website (ADS) is so they can get rid of old stock?
Because it doesn't say new or old version on their website.

Yeah and I've never tried it before. I'm definitely thinking of picking up old stock from ADS and giving it a shot. I read on here from a lot of people of how much they like it.

I'm sorry, but I cannot discuss upcoming formula changes until the release date. If we start hyping the new stuff too soon, our distributors can get stuck with a lot of stock and it takes them longer to get the new stuff in. We appreciate our distributors and don't want them upset. We had to sit on the new formula Tire Shine for months for this very reason.
