Ok, so here in Seattle, very few places have AC. Who needs it when it only hits high 80's for a week..maybe..lol. Well, we are all dying here. It has been in the 90's for over a week and today it hit 104. It has been dry and hot. Where is the rain and cool temps they promised us? I have a detail tomorrow too. Luckily, it is at 5:30pm and I can wash indoors now.
Everyone in Seattle will be dead by tomorrow. They are calling for low 100's. I moved away from FL to get away from this sh@t! Shauna, give us back our weather!
Yeah i'm pretty much done with this crazy heat. My house has AC but my parents refuse to turn it on because and I quote "It costs too much". So Here I am sitting with a fan on high at my feet.
I have a freind from upstate NY. He says when it gets real hot they fill up a 5 gallon bucket of water, place your feet into bucket and turn the fan on you........Says you'll have chill bumps in a matter of seconds. Hope this Helps.....My A/C stays on 60 degress(Someone has Menopause :help: ) frikkin like a Morgue around here. Maybe this will cool you off >>>:cold:
Don't feel too bad, most of us Midwesterners are waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not really looking forward to winter this year.
Oooh. Good idea, i'm gonna go try that out. It got so hot earlier, I had to give my dog a spa treatment with ice cold damp towels to keep him at a comfortable temperature, tried the fan but that just made him mad :giggle:

Its been like that most of the summer here on the eastside! I like Seattle but im originally from socal and couldnt stand the rain. Its weird over here though, blazing heat or freezing cold with short fall's and spring. One of my buddys is in Memphis till friday, he said its rainy but nice to get out of the heat for a week.
