This car got a full detail from me using the same procedure you are all familiar with now. It's a shame a don't have a better camera. With the low light, I just couldn't hold the camera steady enough for good finished pictures. The paint looks fantastic though, I was amazed at the level of correction I got out of it with a 1 stage.

the pictures are horribly unorganized but I refuse to lose more of my day fighting with photobucket.

The end of an era :(

I've yet to see an 09. Some small interior changes I see.

Nice work. Looks good. That thing was filthy.

I was sporting wood the whole time doing this car. the honda paint corrects so nicely. such a better paint job than that edge I did! smooth as glass, for a factory painted car!

very good interior work, how many uber yellow did you use?

    Thank you!

I used one pad and cleaned it half-way through with some ZC. hosed it out, rung the water out, spun it on the PC then soaked it with my IPA spray, and another "spin" cycle. good as new!

nice, how long is this detail?

took me 10 hrs. I started at 8:00am. I had the interior done and was ready for polishing at about 1:00 I think.

I spent a lot of time going over little details on this car waxed the door jambs and filler neck area, two coats of wax on everything etc.

I wanted it perfect and did three final walk-arounds on separate occasions.

it really helps that there are only two seats, so the interior went pretty fast. I still steamed the seat rails, and extracted the carpet behind the seat, treated the back of the seat etc. etc. because of it's size, it was really fun to do a thorough job on the car.

by no means a super thorough 100 hour detail you see on here from time to time. the paint is far from perfect. just a really solid 1 stage job.

    thanks TJ.

I think that things like the interior work is what seperates us (the DB community) from the "other" local guys. it seems everybody on here really wants to take it to the next level, get the job done properly more than just quickly.

no stains, nothing in the cracks, the right products used in the right places. no streaks anywhere. I think making a car feel new again can be made or broken with the interior, because there are so many places to go wrong. usually when I give interior quotes I get "really, that long?" and I respond with, "yes, because i'll actually detail it." every single customer i've had has been more than happy with the interior work.

it's funny isn't it? that it's not too hard to impress? it seems nobody (except for us) knows how to do something properly anymore, in a world of franchises and making a fast dollar.

I have a few more (non blurry) interior pictures, but have no interest in breaking DB rules, as they have my business cards in them :)

Nice save! I guess it was so dirty from being a convertible and lack of regular cleaning.

Final results look better than new!

I dont understand how people drive around in such filth. Its mind boggling.
