09 Nissan GTR with water spot etch

    Another problem child vehicle, sticky paint WITH additional fun for me = water spots. 22 hours plus with help from Mark Zamzow, without CG water spot remover I do not know what I would have done.

    WASH: GI Soap
    CLAY: P&S fine clay
    WHEELS: GI wheel gel
    TIRES: GI Tire dressing
    TRIM: GI TRV
    EXHAUST: CG extreme metal shine

    WATER SPOTS: CG & P&S acid water spot removal products applied with sponge and elbow grease

    CORRECTION

    WOOL PAD: Megs 105/GI beta with GI EVP pad prime
    FOAM PAD: GI exteme/EVP
    POLISH: Menz 106 FA GI blue foam pad
    JEWELLING: Menz PO86RD
    GLAZE: CG acrylic glaze

    LSP: GI Signature/Concorso

    Looked like a major pain in the ass, couldnt be a worse car to have water spots and etching on!

    Great job taking care of the water spots. I take it you would recommend CG WS remover, is it just apply to a damp sponge and wipe product onto paint till they go away and rinse off. I see you said you wanted for it to cure.

    I take a damp sponge and a pea size amount of the gel and rub the affected surface with good pressure and let it dry, then rinse with a good amount of water then re-check to see if the spots will release from the surface(glass,paint etc..) the GTR took 16 applications to get the desired results.

    I also bought the P&S brand and it did not work quite as well as the CG water spot remover(just wear gloves!!!).

    Damn, talk about impressive work. Twenty two hours isn't nothing with two guys... I bet that bill would make me fall backwards!
