    Hi everyone,

This car belongs to a referral from a message board I'm a part of. Good news, the owner is getting married so she wanted her car cleaned with a wash, vac, and wax (I should rename my version of that package "wash, vac and wax" lol). And her car is a 09 White Chevrolet Equinox.

    Bad news:
    - think layer of film grease all over the car, EVERY where. (probably plant based as they came back from a heavy fishing trip)
    - It wouldn't RINSE off with a 1700 pressure washer hit it
    - the tires looked brown already
    - It was white

    Good news:
    - I get to detail it :)

    This was a Mobile Detail
    Wash
    - Foamed with DP Xtreme Foam + a little P21 TAW (only had a little)
    - Washed with Poorboys SSS w/ schmitt
    Wheels
    - Tires degreased with special degrease soap formula
    - Wheels with special gel based wheel cleaner
    - Tires dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine tire spray - I wanted that glossy look to offset the white, the matte finish wouldn't have given me that as much.
    Wax
    - Pinnacle Carnauba Spray Wax
    Interior
    - Vacuumed. Wiped down with 303 Aerospace.
    - Glass cleaned with Stoner's

    Before:

Typical front end on white, dead bugs whose corpses make the front look bad

I tried to photograph that filmy grease stuff I was talking about

This is by far the best view of what I'm trying to explain when I say "film that covered entire car" look at the tail gate and you'll see the layers and pattern of dirt that you'll be able to notice what I'm saying. If you specifically look around the license plate you'll see what I'm getting at, it was like that, except darker and ALL OVER THE CAR.

    During:

Cleaning the brown off the tires, I scrubbed after it set, but it's always fun to see the brown just ooze off...

    Wheel cleaning with EZ brush...

    Foamed with foam gun

    AFTER:

It was harder to take pictures because...with the sun out, it becomes difficult to get a good shot, and white paint reflects the light really really strongly, it'll be like driving next to a pile of snow for the lucky bride....

Thanks guys, it really helps me believe I'm doing something right and I'm not a total screw-up :).

I would've loved to clay it, but the bride had no time and I didn't want to force it on her, I did mention it to her though, and she seemed interested.

good going, white looks good after a wash, and it looks the same after a polish lol, I'm glad my work truck is white sometimes!
