Engine cleaned with Autoglym Powermax2 and 303 Washed with DP Auto Shampoo.Very wet foam, love it! Jambs cleaned with Autoglym Powermax2 Paint and jambs finished with Werkstat Prime Strong and Acrylic Jett x 2. All exterior trim done with 303. Wheels, tires and inner fenders cleaned with Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner. Finished with Werkstat Prime Strong and PB Wheel Sealant. Tires dressed with Blackfire tire gel. Exhaust tips finished with Autosol and 000 steel wool. All glass done with Autoglym Glass Polish. Total time - 5 hours Water was still beading decently after 4.5 months. Drivers side has FMJ on it and passengers side has Colli 476. Tried Riccardo Clay today. Not bad but areas that had alot of fallout needed alot of work to remove. Automagic blue is alot easier to use. Money shot! Even the fuel filler door gets some wax. Doesn't everyone put two coats of wax on the underside of the hood? Thanks for looking.
Looks great. I can't believe that FMJ lasts that long. I bought a big bottle of it and never used it becuase I heard it was just OK. I might have to bust it out one of these weekends now.
If you prep the paint properly, and use Menz High Gloss Acrylic Shield you will be quite impressed. I have yet to see FMJ last less than 4 months on any of the cars I use it on.:thumb:
Love the underside of the hood shot at first I thought it had mirrors glued onto it like the car show guys use.
