The owner of this car had just bought it with 30k miles on the clock, he saw and liked our previous Carrera write up and decided to hire me and my partner to restore gloss and lay down some serious protection for his new ride. This is the process of the multiple step detail we performed for this client, and boy was he ecstatic! Wheel before: Wheels/calipers after: Cleaning the emblem here with a degreaser: Then we gave the car a foam bath: Can't forget about behind the gas lid! And vents + leftover wax on edge of clear bra! Crack between taillights and bumper got a cleaning too! And finally door handles!
True condition of the car: Covering this up so we don't have to deal with the polishing dust! Driver side of the hood (Prior to polishing): Passenger side of the hood (After polishing):
After its second bath, we pulled the car inside for the second step, prepped the car for coating, then applied opti coat This is just a teaser of our next project, a 1996 Mercedes S500 Thanks for looking everyone!
Great work, looks excellent. 1) Where did you get the brush from with the blue ring in your first few pics? Looks like a Swissvax brush... 2) Why did you stuff the vents with newspapers when you were going to rinse the vehicle after polishing?
First of all, thanks for the nice comments everyone. I'm a little sore and feeling a bit lazy to reply individually, lol. P1et: As far as the brush, I have no idea, that brush belongs to Tuan, pm him lol. We stuffed the vents because polishing dust sometimes don't come off with rinsing, and we aren't taking any chances, lol
Awesome tag team work! I like the innovative idea of stuffing the vents. One less thing to worry about for post clean-up.
