Thought it would be a good idea to wash mom's car. I got into it and ended up doing quick paint detailing session. The car used to be parked under some mean trees, which resulted in heavy roof and bonnet contamination. Sonus green took care of all the tar and most of the mentioned contamination but I needed to use light compound from 3M and Meg's pait cleaner. After that I gave the car an IPA wipedown and gave it a coat of SV Onyx. Wash: Meg's NXT shampoo, Meg's sponge Drying: SV flexi blade, Meg's chamois Cleaning: Sonus green, NXT detailer as lube, 3M Extra Fine, Meg's paint cleaner, IPA. Wheels/Tires: Wurth red gel, SV Pneu LSP: SV Onyx Here it is, no 50/50 or before/afters, sorry about that: Couple of days earlier I hade some nicer ride to work on, a Z4 M. Car's owner and my friend assisted, which was very helpful and time saving. Wash: Meg's NXT shampoo, Meg's sponge, SV towel Drying: SV flexi blade, Meg's chamois, Meg's water magnet towel Cleaning: Sonus green, NXT detailer as lube, IPA. Wheels/Tires: Wurth red gel, SV Pneu, SV Autobahn LSP: SV Onyx After wash, during claying, not much contamination: IPA wipedown in progress: Onyx applied: Onyx removed, time to show off, sadly the pictures didn't catch the effect: Thank you for watching.
Wow nice job! On the Bimmer, what rims are those? They look like gunmetal VMR V710's but less concavity so I'm not really sure what they are
Thanks! The rims are from E46 M3 CSL, but repainted - not sure what colour exactly. Thanks! You must have met some poles I see Thank you all for feedback, you encourage me to work harder! It's a great place to be.
Seriously, try to show your neighbours to show what you do and they'll tell u it's sick. The same with some of my message board mates, here it's a different story
