As the title says this is a annual job I do like clockwork, except the job is usually BEFORE the Concorso not AFTER............. anywho this time the car had some pretty bad RIDS on the drivers rear fender on top and on the roof near the window line drivers side but except for that just medium correction was required. Great work there Bob! A few questions for you... Where do you get one of those pieces of foam that you use for kneeling? I could definitely use one of those, hehe. Also, is that your CRSpotless leaking?
UMMM..LED panel?? Thats sweet, did I miss that in a past post?? I have seen your flourscent light that you use for the interiors on that stand, but somehow missed that... Car looks great as usual sir.
Yes it is, if I tighten the cannister to tight I think it will cause the opening inside to come loose as this has happened twice now!!!! something CR should fix.
Yes Ken, most of the time I wear my stormtropper boots but I felt like wearing them that day, and to answer about the CG glaze just machine it in with a Flex, PC etc... at slow speed with a 100ppi pad and your good to go. Denzil the knee pad is from an ab roller thing I bought YEARSSSSSSSSSSS ago but it works great, most garden depts in Home Depot ect.. have them.
I beleive Bob has said before He got his at a Garden Center.I swiped mine from my Wife, who got Hers/Mine giggle at a Garden Center. The best $10 investment you'll ever make  Bob, you've done it again. Yet another Homerun :cheerl:
Mine leaks too. The top of the blue canister is FAWKED from over tightening. I agree CR should replace for free. I usually stick a bucket underneath the leaking canister 'cause that's expensive water I'm wasting!
Thanks guys! I'll be sure to pick one up. I'm the lucky one who's not experiencing the leaking problem but I am experiencing the go-through-resin-ridiculously-fast issue still. This water in the Bay Area is disgustingly hard (at least I think so; don't know if you other local guys agree). Any idea where I can find a decent water test kit or should I just pick one up at the local Ace Hardware or Lowe's?
I go through resin a lot too. What's funny is Newark and Fremont, as well as other cities (I don't think Hollister though) run off of the Hetch-Hetchy water system from the Hetch-Hetchy Dam/Reservoir in Yosemite. It's supposed to be some of the cleanest drinking water in the WORLD.. but I guess clean doesn't necessarily mean not "hard"
Great Job Bob! Can you elaborate on the "heat gun" method that you were using to help remove water spots? Thanks!
