Customer bought this car brand new in 2006, he kept the car clean, and waxed it monthly for the 1st year, then he got lazy..... The car has been parked outside all its life, and neglected for the past 3 years (he washed it once a month, sometimes longer). I'd say the correction rate is around 80-85%. The front end had damage and was held by zip ties, roof had cracking bondo that actually has rust underneath. The entire car was littered with spit (He smokes, so as he is driving, he spits out the window, and some of it end up on the paint). I managed to get some out, but there are some that according to him, has been on the car for 3 years. Well..... I'm happy with the amount I was paid, lol. Not sure if I'm allowed to mention how much I charged him, haha.
Your money, your business. You can make it public or private. Anyways, it turned out great for what it was. I never understood why people want to roll around in their own filth, but to each their own.
Thank you! Well, I charged him $240 for 7 hours of work (Although it only took 7 hours, but I had to cover my own ass, so I initially told him 8 hours @ $30 an hour). He was so happy that he paid me the full $240 anyways. I don't understand either, and the funny part is that he OWNS a bodyshop.
Isn't it fun knowing your clients truly appreciate your work? EDIT: I just noticed this picture is actually a reflection IN the door! Amazing!
Yes, very much so. Below is his reply to my write up on tsxclub And I was wondering who's going to notice that picture lol
WOW now that someone mentioned it, I realized that was a reflection also. Great pics. Great job detailing. This was an awesome turn around
Very nice work on that recovery. I enjoyed seeing the two guys just sitting in their chairs, watching while you work.
It happens to me as well, some freind comes over and sits there. LOL. Sometimes it helps during a final inspection to have multiple eyes on a car. Love the door reflection picture.
