Recent job, this car was brought in and needed not a major correction but medium level correction and clean up for the dry trim and wheel wells. Before the wash/decon step. As stated not in need of serious correction, but a few spots needed compounding. Corrected. Dry trim. After a pass with "Tarminator". Wheel after clean up. Engine bay cleaned up. Clean up under Convertible top. During clean up. Before. During cleaning. "Leaf abatement". Slight greasy film build up removed off of the Nav screen, Megs D301 works nice for the screen leaves the screen clean & smooth. The darker blue interior looks sharp with the "GT Silver" exterior. A few finshed sun shots.
Nice car that is now clean again, the car is for sale so if anyone is interested drop me a PM and I will pass your contact information to him.
That's sweet, man if I had the money. A 19 yr old kid I know just bought a $90K Range Rover, lucky them...
Nice job. Love the car. Did you use Tarminator on the black door edge molding. It looks great, but I usually am afraid to let Tarminator come in contact with the trim or rubber. Thanks for posting !
Nice work Bob, just had an A4 with major adhesive buildup on all the trim, Tarminator did the trick. Makes for a great base to apply 303. -Kody-
Yes that is what I used and said as much, it really is the "Wonder solvent" I use it everyday that I buy it by the case usually, but have been lazy to do so and have been getting it three cans at a time from Kragen(That is the quanity they always seem to have....no more, no less.
Bob, One of the things that makes me shake my head everytime is premature aging of trim on Porsches. You clean them, tidy them up and 2 months later the dryness takes over again. I hope they get that sorted out. Once again, outsanding work. I really love the GT Silver color. I've never been a fan of the blue interior, but that one looks good with the painted seatbacks. Thanks for sharing as usual. Joe D.
I know it's expensive but I opti coated all the exterior trim on my GTI. I so do not miss the tedious process of dressing my trim every month.
