This is the car that I used the blue Riccardo clay on. It is in really nice shape although the hood had multiple light and deeper scratches (I believe from poor washing techniques by the old owner). The pics aren't great due to having to shoot them in the garage and not outside since it was too cold and snowing. :( A week ago it was in the low 70's and now we have snow. I HATE WINTER!

    The Process:

    Wheels/Barrels/Wells/Tires:

Wheels and Barrels got DG Wheel cleaner with EZ brush
    Wells got Kleenol APC
    Tires cleaned with ARO
Wheels subsequently cleaned with DG 501
Wheels then sealed with DG 105
    Tires treated with DP gel

    Wash:

Power washed and done with 2 bucket method
Clayed with Riccardo Blue with ONR as lube

    Paint:

Hood compounded with Megs 105 and purple foamed wool using rotary at 2000 rpm
Hood polished with Menz micro polish with blue pad at 1200 rpm using rotary
Entire car (including glass) polished with DG 501 with blue pad at 1200 rpm using rotary.
    DG 601 applied by hand
DG 105 applied via UDM with blue pad at speed 2

    Head/Tail Lights:

Compounded using 4" purple foamed wool and X3 with rotary at 1200 rpm
Polished/sealed with 4" blue pad using DG 501 with rotary at 1000 rpm

    Chrome:

Tail pipes cleaned with DG wheel cleaner then polished with Blue Magic
Grille cleaned with DG 501 by hand

    Interior:

Plastic panels cleaned with Kleenol (4:1)
Platic panels then treated with 303
Leather cleaned and treated same way
    Glass done with IG
Mats steam cleaned after vacuming and spot treating with Folex

    Thanks Scott!

911..yeah, WHATEVER! You guys get lucky with your shinooks out there.

    Thanks a lot!

Thanks Buddy! You're right about the foam gun..and that shit isn't even cold!!

JL..it's the all wheel cleaner and I buy it by the gallon. It's a good price and works MOST of the time. For the nasty shit, I use Megs WB (remember, you sent me my 1st sample of that!)

Thanks Pat..for the regular population, winter is depressing..for us detailers, it's sheer hell!!

Thank you. It is a very nice car indeed.

P1et..thank you. No, I didn't wash it inside, instead I froze my ass off doing it outside. Once I got it inside to dry, I HAD to light a cigar just to take my mind off it, LOL.:joint:
