A break in below freezing temperatures afforded me the opportunity to clean my vehicle. I decided to complete a routine wash and apply additional protection to horizontal surfaces. I apologize for picture quality. My daughter broke my camera last week and I am waiting for a replacement to arrive; I ended up using my phone to take the following pictures.

My vehicle was covered in a winter grime.

I cleaned the wheels with S100 Wheel Gel. I used a Swisswax Wheel Brush for the wheel faces and Autozone Spoke Brush for the barrels. The tires were cleaned with Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner. The wheel wells were sprayed with Meguiar's Super Degreaser cut 4:1 and agitated with a gong brush.

I then foamed the vehicle with 2 oz Meg's Hyperwash mixed with 30 oz of water. This was left to dwell for ten minutes and then removed via a high pressure rinse.

All exterior trim was cleaned via Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner and a Meguiar's Slidelock Brush. I then washed the vehicle using the two bucket method with a Eurow Lambswool Wash Mitt and Grit Guards. The vehicle was dried using a Hi-Temp waffle weave microfiber towel and a blower.

I then applied Collinite 845 Insulator Wax to all horizontal panels using a Porter Cable and 3M finishing pad. This was left to cure for 20 minutes before being buffed off with Eurow microfiber towels.

What do you think of the Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner?

I prefer the Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner over degreasers and all purpose cleaners. I used to use Meguiar's Super Degreaser cut 4:1 on tires; however, the Hi-Temp product does a better job removing tire dressings.

That's nice to hear since I tend to reccommend it a lot when tire/wheel well cleaners get brought up. Can't beat it's performance or price.

Nice car, it would look even better if it were debadged.
