Yesterday I did this Ford Explorer interior and exterior detail. The exterior wasn't anything really to write about, so figured I'd do a write up on the interior only.

Customer was looking to get the car cleaned up for her son who she gave this SUV to. It's been severely neglected over it's lifetime and looks like it had never really been cleaned other than maybe a quick vacuum here and there.

Due to time constraints the customer requested I do the best I can with the carpets. I would have liked to remove all the seats and give the carpets a good cleaning, but didn't have the time. So I did the best I could with the time I had. Overall I think it came out pretty well.

    Products Used:

    OPC 3:1
    Folex
    303 Aerospace
    Megs Window Cleaner
    DP Plex-All

    Equipment Used:
    Ridged Shop Vac
    Gaia Steamer/Extractor
    Various Brushes
    Many MFs
    Terry Cloth Towels

    Vehicle as it arrived

No I didn't take the seats out due to time constraints. The customer was thrilled with it.

I used it at 3:1 but also used my steamer. So, the combo worked great. Still had to hit some areas multiple times, like the steering wheel, cup holders, etc.

  17. How can someone drive in a car like that and not be sick.
