This was another client from the same neighbourhood where I had finished 4 other cars. The owner had popped out to see the results of the other cars and was impressed enough to let me polish up his baby. The car is an 01, bought from new, and only has just over 30 000 km’s on the clock. The paint was not in awful shape, but the owner needs some serious education about how to wash his car. Sending an email about the proper steps shortly after this write up is done. I decided on a rotary as the paint isn’t very soft on this car, and ended up having to refine the finish as there were some very light holograms that were left from the initial polish. They were so faint I couldn’t see them with my Fenix and couldn’t even capture them on my camera, but could see them in direct sun. Just goes to show you that the sun is the ultimate tool. The start Dirty rims Under the lights 50/50 Under the sun Clean rims All done Thanks for looking A big thanks for Hamza for bringing the iced cap and Danish by, that stuff really hit the spot.
Great work on that car, looked really nice even in the garage but I guess the sun really is the ultimate tool for inspecting polishing work. Thank you for all those products, I literally gave that polish a whirl on my friend's prelude 15 minutes after you gave it to me.
Nice work. I rather like the way those S-Types look. Despite the Ford underpinnings they at least look like proper Jaguars. So far, I'm not really convinced of the merits of the styling on the newer XF.
I like this paint alot for correction, nice work B....or as your countrymate Celine Dion would say "lurvely". I was actually at TMP yesterday - was this yesterdays prep?
Thanks for referring me to the Lincoln Navigator guy, but the guy called Sunday after 3pm and wanted me to come then, saying he cannot wait. Judging by what he was telling me the whole headliner is filthy (and I'd rather do a spot clean not to take risks on the adhesive) as well as stains and marks from oil on seats and dash. Keep up the great work! Glad to see your clearing out that neighbourhood.
no problem, never extend past your abilities until you are more comfortable. I hate cleaning headliners myself. Basically the main reason behind a steamer purchase in the near future.
No way, I was going to go to CSCS but I had to work. Next time you go msg me, I am always ready to track or at least watch. Did you test drive the Scion TC?
Nice job on the Jag Bryan! Bummer with these days getting shorter; makes it harder to check in the sun when it goes down so quickly!!
