Hey guys, new to this detailing scene. Been on the forum for awhile though and decided to post some of my goodies. Well, when I first got my car I decided to reserve $500 max for detailing supplies. Well I went over that amount in about two orders... now sitting at $1k in supplies, I think I'll take a break. This hobby is getting really expensive. :doh: All I'm missing is some expensive wax. I don't know about you guys but sometimes when there's a sale/deal, It's really hard to resist so I just buy a little bit to feel better. Little by little things add up and damn, that is sure a lot of money to clean a car. My family thinks I'm crazy... :thud: and I kind of believe them. I don't have anything with me right now since they're all in Austin but here's what I got with me right now. Some MF from Justin @ OD. Ordered Friday, got here on Monday. My collection when I'm in Houston. Thanks to Phil @ DD, I have a BUNCH of Uber towels, that's about half of what I got. Left to right. Uber Towels Amazing Dryer WW Glass+Drying from Justin Cobra HD WW DD WW Updated! Jumped on the BOGO ARO and DG AW (Don't even know why I bought a gal of AW) OID, DG105 and some other DG stuff, gotta get some DG501. The good stuff :headbang: FK425 - wanted to see what all the hype was about Megs#26 for the Spring. Thanks to P1et ONR and Opti Tire Bond, love both of these. ONR as Clay lube IMO > Last Touch 1:1 Tire bond make tires look nice and clean My little sample section. 105, CG CWC and 106ff thanks to Brent (matrix_808) Small Clay collection 5.5" and 4" Pads/BP Oh yea the "Pro Blender" kinda sucks. Great collection of micro fiber towels :thumb: You can never have enough micro fiber towels, not sure what it is about micro fiber but you can always use more and more :druling:
Nice. I know exactly how you feel...I'm new to this too but my collection of detailing supplies is going to exceed the value of my car pretty soon. :thumb:
Awesome stuff Minh! I am slowly moving my detailing goodies from my storage unit to my garage, so I'll have some goodies for you to try out if you'd like since I have a lot more gallon size product than I thought I did!!!
Looking good. Its an addiction. I'm glad my family has never seen my products. They'd take me to see a phyciatrist!! I could probably make a set of bed sheets and pillow cases out of Justin's Ultra Premiums!
Sounds good. Another bad habit of mine is ordering a gallon of stuff to "sample"... can't seem to justify buying a 16oz for X amount and I can get a gal for XX amount. Just got some FK425 and DG AW, gallon size :doh:
Not anything spectacular. But I'll post em up this weekend hopefully No problem. I haven't even used it yet, weather kind of sucks lately.
I Just used my FK-425. What great stuff. I Just wiped It down over a fresh coat of Collinite 845. It works pissa...:thumb:
