Like what the title says I went to the local laundry mat just to wash my four blankets since my machines at one can only do two at a time might as well just do all 4 in one shot. I didn't realize that the detergent dispenser gets refilled at the end of the night in big buckets. So i thought to myself I wonder if they'll let me have a bucket and turns out they did. Brought it home and this was the result. OMG the Grit Guards actually fit in nicely
That's one of the good heavy buckets. Way to go. If you go back see if they have the tops. Some of them have a snap on top with an O-ring seal. Good for storing stuff. I've got pvc fittings in one and fertilizer in another.
Nice pickup. I bought two home depot orange buckets... the grid guards dont fit all the way to the bottom. O well.
I went back this afternoon and asked them about it and they normally cut the top off but I was able to find one they didn't.....Not sure if this is what you meant
i buy my household laundry soap by the bucket like that at a local Bjs or Costco....i have a few of the buckets....and my wife likes the detergent so we keep using it and i keep getting buckets with lids.....
Oops forgot to post a pic......here is my second bucket from the laundry mat with the one lid. I like how you can stack the buckets and you could still leave the grid guard in there without getting it squashed or something.
Nice free find, I have two buckets from CG with the spin off lids. Lids are nice especially like when I do ONR washes in the winter. I fill them up in the sink and the lids make sure I don't make a mess in the house. Trust me the lid will come in handy.
I just connect my hose to the faucet down stairs right next to my garage and run the line to the outside just making sure the water is not too hot just warm and i'm set.
Those look like nice lids too. Restaurants will also have some nice 5 gal buckets to throw out at times.
