I just bought half a bottle of 3m Ultrafina SE UK. And it says "USE BY 11 2009" I am guessing that is November. But I also have a Menzerna 85rd I just bought. I never paid attention to the bottle. If I don't use it by that time, will it still work. I'll think ill finish it by then, im just wondering. Does it say that on the menzerna bottles?

    Thanks

Polish can often last beyond the 'best before date'. Companies tend to put these on to prevent legal issues with people having problems with ancient stock. The reality is that polishes will 'clump' over time as the solids try and bond out of the solvent (mainly water in the case of Menz) so as long as you shake the product every month or so and before use, and keep it air-tight, it should last a fair old while. You could always seive it and remove solid lumps that have formed. Separation of solids from solvent is the biggest issue and as mentioned, shaking can help prevent this.
