GTA only CTs have the chenille mitts reduced from $10 to $2.50 this weekend only. This is my favourite medium for ONR garage washes.
forgive me for I am very old. what is a GTA and who is CT. I just relized the you maybe from Canada The way you spelled favourite. Maybe I'm not that old after all. I spell it favorite. Thanks...
Oui, vous etes correct. I thought in the Canada forum I could get away with the weird spelling, eh? Glad to see our neighbours are keeping me honest. And yes, CT is Canadian Tire (think HD with hockey sticks) and GTA is the Greater Toronto Area. So if you're in NYC or LA you're out of luck.:mounty: Nobody even questioned what ONR is. You guys must be car crazy, eh?
That puts me out of reach but thats O-kay. How to spell Color(Colour). I know more. like I said. I'm getting old again. hahaha...
Canada, together with so many other English-speaking countries, spell it COLOUR (not COLOR). As far as I know, our neighbours south of the our border, are the only exception since they spell coloured neighbours colored neighbors.........It must be shorthand or something.....LOL Now, since this specific sub-forum is intitled Canada Forum you may wanna brush up on our way of spelling....Heheheeeeeeeeeee
Incorrect.............Actually, the emphasis was on the these 2 words (neighbour / colour)since they both have the OUR vs OR
I'm in Tampa, Florida actually.. Turns out we have a baseball team here!? Go Rays! :applause2: I wouldn't mind going to Canada. Tired of the heat here.
Anyways... back to the deal. Anyone find that chenille mitts leave swirling on vehicles? I've had better success with synthetic wash pads. Anyone else?
I don't really know what you mean by synthetic wash pads but I have never had any problem with the chenille mitts marring, and for ONR I prefer them over sheepskin or grout sponge. They hold a ton of solution and trap the dirt very effectively. I first tried them with ONR on the advice of Scott from another forum and have stuck with them ever since.
I might give them another try -- haven't used chenille's for 4 or 5 years. I seem to have better luck with synthetic wash pads (like the ones from adamspolishes.com) because they seem to do a better job releasing dirt when rinsed in a bucket of water with a grit guard.
Where did you see that in the flyer? I saw 1/2 off foam brushes, 1/2 off micro fibres and 30% off Mother's polishing ball for paint. I didn't see wash mitts.
Shit..I would have loved to get 4. Have you got yours already? Can you get me some? I'm gonna pm you as well..
