I enjoy the ease of application and removal of Swissvax Smaragd; however, I am starting to detail more frequently and am looking for a cheaper wax which is comparable in terms of application, removal, and looks. Any suggestions?

    If you haven't used these:
I'll say Lusso Oro for $40 80z tub.
CG 50/50 is very similar (almost believe it made by the same mfg of Lusso Oro).

Just got my VW red but can't say for now until I try it.

    Both the Pinnacles - Souveran - 90.00 - Signature series II - 60.00 - I really like both of them alot...:thumb:

I would like to keep it under $80. I've been interested in trying the Victoria Red; anyone have any experience with this product? How does it fare in terms of ease of application and removal ; I've read looks are up to par with some of Zymol and Swissvax's high end waxes.

For synthetic I like Wolfgang, it leaves a nice shine and durable. For caranuba, I like Pinnacle, I have both souvergn and series 2. Both very reasonable in pricing.

I find P21S to be very easy, also Souveran. Lusso Oro is also very easy, but I don't like the beading or durability that much.

I have Victoria Red and its very easy to use. I can't comment on longevity as I've only used it a few times. Very wet look to it. The original P21S paste wax( not the 100% Carnauba) is by far the easiest wax to use and looks unbelievable. Longevity isn't so hot. If this is for clients cars, I would suggest putting down a layer of a good sealant before your wax so there will be some longevity.

The original P21S was very much underrated, I always loved the way it looked, especially on black. I found the durability to be OK, not great, but no bad either!

I like the original P21S over a sealant like Klasse. Victoria Red is very good and I have been using that lately - I like it better the Souveran

I was so excited about P21S that I actually just waxed my wife's Explorer... Gotta love the dedication!

Speaking of that, here is what she looked like last time I added a layer of P21S to the Explorer:

Do you recommend VW Red over the P21S original formula? (Also, I posted a few more pics of the bike in the polishing forum if you were interested in checking them out).

Thanks to everyone for some awesome feedback; IMHO, you guys make this the best detailing site. I'm going to look into the P21S and Pinnacle paste waxes

I appreciate the visual P1et; the finish on your explorer is bananas!
