I am going to vegas in october for my birthday (b-day is in sept but we are waiting for thanksgiving). Part of the trip is a show. I was wondering if there are any shows you would recomend seeing? thanks for the help
Uhhhh, I know of a couple of shows at the Olympic Garden and Paradise Club...are you going with a co-ed group or just a group of guys?
Cirque du Solei and Blue man group are awesome! i see BMG on HBO sometimes and cirque du solei i catch on PBS every blue moon.
im going to vegas tom.... i so excited. We have plans set up to see the two car musiums (if we win big im comming home wth an 8l bentley), penn and teller, as well as a few dinners... this should be my big trip of te year.... im so excited
Have you ever been to Vegas? If not, don't forget that there is plenty free attractions also. The Pirate Battle at Treasuer Island is fun, the water show at Bellagio is amazing as is the Freemont Street Experience. Gondola rides in the Venetian are nice if you are going with the wife/girlfriend but probably not a good idea if you are going with the your brother and father.:giggle:
How long are you staying for? The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car auction begins next week, airing on TV the 16th being held at the Mandalay Bay. I was there about a month and a half ago, shows or no show, there is definitely plenty to do. Be sure to spend a night over at Fremont Street for the light show...
im comming back monday, its just a long weekend. To be honest i have no desire to go to berret jackson, i prefer the auctions with the classics intead of the AM, but thats just me. and thnks for the time i will have to check out the light show
Im going next weekend and one show im seeing is Criss Angels new Cirque du Solei show (name escapes me right now) Be sure to check out the half price ticket booths, they are same day showings but hella cheap tickets and usually good seats. Stomp and Blue man Group are oldies but a goodies.
Remember lots of pictures, some videos if you can and have a good time. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun :cheerl:
[ QUOTE=Nica;88594]Remember lots of pictures, some videos if you can and have a good time. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun :cheerl:[/QUOTE] i plan on taking lots of pics and videos, esp since we have tickets to both car collections....
I'd recommend the Wynn buffet, its called "The Buffet" It's great food and a WIDE selection to choose from. They have variety of foods from all the different ethnic cultures. As for the free shows, ya definitely the Bellagio water show. I don't think there is anything really special about the Freemont Experience, it is not something i would go out of my way for.
well its crunch time, next time im on will be when im back from vegas... everyone have a good holiday weekend (wel the canadians anyway) thanks everyone for the tips, and dont worry there will betons of pics
Calgary, JL is the man to speak to regarding Vegas. Sure he will be on here soon to give you all the info you might need
