He used to be on the ultimate fighter...seems decent, but sometimes they say it is the glancing punch taht can do the most damage..cuz it sure as hell didnt look like he caught him that great...but oh well, i actually read a story on yahoo that if kimbo didnt win, that the ExC would actually go under because CBS is putting all of the emphasis on kimbo, and well you saw his showing tonight....

waited all night for kimbo to kick some ass... it was honestly a lucky punch. kimbo otherwise would have demolished him.
Did anybody think it was stopped too soon? It was kinda borderline, but he's gotta know that can happen sometimes when you get knocked on your butt. I think that's one of the draws of MMA, that almost anything can happen to anyone. Look how unbeatable Liddell looked, then all of a sudden he gets a couple losses. Serra beating Geo. St. Pierre, Griffin over Rampage. I don't give Cote much of a chance over Anderson Silva. But it's kind of like the NFL, every week there are upsets, so who knows? I'd like to see Jake Shields fighting Silva, and I guess he's trying to get that to happen. The Diaz brothers, especially Nick, are so arrogant, but they could probably submit just about anyone.
I absolutely despise that whole cagefighting deal, but it's nice to see that Kim doesn't win every single fight.
Why did Shamrock pull out? That would have been a funny fight. Kimbo has some good swings like thye Mike yson of the MMA, that fight was a bum deal but thats life.
If Ken would have lost to Kimbo it would have been a sign to retire. After seeing Kimbo almost lose to James Glassjaw Thompson I lost all respect for Kimbo. In Kens defence he is not a burnout, he is just old. Sports advance and skills/fitness advance with time. Compare any sport today with the same sport 10 years ago. Heck, look how easily Gracie got beat by Matt, heck is/wasn't gracie the best? The sport evolved and other fighters used gracie moves and evolved to MMA.
Kimbo is a one trick pony. He's a ghetto ass thug that got what he deserved. I'm absolutely excited to see him lose. Maybe next time he'll shake hands with his opponent at the start of a fight. I don't see how anyone can like him. Hell, he gets introduced as an "internet phenom." And I think the ref got it right. Kimbo wasn't defending himself at all, hell after it was called Kimbo tried to take down the ref, he had no idea what planet he was on.
