hi there. This is my motor,a 1999 mondeo ST200.i bought a megs G220 many months ago now and spent what turned into,100's of hours working with it to learn as i went. started with this and many donor panels, parents cars etc and finally started some detailing work. i tried the softly approach using the polishing pad from megs and the #80 but wasnt getting anywhere fast!! moved onto #83 but nothing again, then finally the cutting pad and 83# which did cut really progressively so i found it productive and easy to gauge how you were getting on. a brisk once over with lime prime cos i love the wet oily gloss.then a coat of poorboys EX,followed by supernatural x 2 coats with suffieicent duration bewteen. the finally a coat of zaino Z8. trim dressed with black wow, tyres with megs endurance. heres some pics of what it looks like with all the work now done.and a routine long established that seems to be working well for me and the paint on this motor. this was a cracking day and a slightly older shot from when i begun the journey with the 220. silver stripes gone, black ones now in!!!
