I just finished applying Danase Classic Wax to my car and I gotta say it is an incredible wax. Goes on fairly easy, and super easy to buff off. The scent is also nice. The finish is a really wet, warm glow, and when I say glow I mean it. I would say the look of this wax is what you might get if you could combine the looks of Pinnacle Souveran and Pinnacle Sig. Series II, but a lot more wet. How perfect is that? So if you like those two waxes, I strongly recommend you give this wax a try. For $21.95, you can't go wrong.

Edit: Ok, here are some pics that I took today as promised. This weekend I added one more layer of Danase Classic Wax for a total of 2 layers, one week apart. The gloss and wetness of this wax are just unbelievable. As good as I think these pics look, they still don't capture the true finish, which is insane. I am really happy with this wax.

Thanks for the recommendation Luis! I actually have a tub but haven't had a chance to try it, hehe.

Thanks for the recommendation Doc. It would be nice if you could post some pics to show off that glow & wet shine.

Sounds like rebadged Chemical Guys XXX wax, which I didn't find to be so special...Remember that it's the prep that gets you most of shine, not the way...
Pete's 53 is pretty nice though...

Is it easy on and easy off like SSII?

This was true before, but now this wax was reformulated, so right now it's not CG XXX wax, as per Bob

Off is just as easy, on I would say SSII is a bit easier.

I wanted to, but it was late last night, so I didn't get a chance. I will try to take some this weekend after I wash the car. Pics don't really do justice to the finish though.

As far as I was told..this wax is not CG XXX..it was formulated with Bob's ideas..gloss enhancers added....its a super wax and great looker...and durability is very good for a wax....

not a bad wax for the price...and better than CG's XXX and natties...and Sig II

Agree! I love both Pinnacle waxes, but the look of Danase's Wax is definitely much nicer than either one alone, IMO and because of the polymers I am sure it has better durability. The gloss and wetness of this wax are just amazing and so is the depth. The price is also hard to beat.

We all have opinions without at least looking at some pictures it's hard to make one.

I would love to try Danase wax; unfortunately, I couldn't find any Canadian retailers that carry it.

Like I said, I'll take some this weekend, but pics don't really capture the true finish. Most people would not be able to discern much by looking at pics, but I know we all like pics.

Did you tried buying directly from Danase? He ships to Canada, just not sure about costs.

Yes, I did, but they ship via UPS, which charges an arm & a leg (brokerage fees, etc).

I hate retailers who only offer a single method of postage.
I say go to Obsessive Detail.
He is flexible and does USPS as well, which might work out to be cheaper esp for overseas shipments.
Fork out a bit more for the Wet Obsession wax which is miles ahead in terms of looks and quality in my opinion.
if you've got a big list, do it , as he can ship to you via the flat rate box at a reasonable rate

Actually, I did end up emailing Danase & Bob Daniels did accept to ship via USPS ($26 for whatever he can get into a USPS Flat Rate Box).
But I only need to buy one tub, so that's not a good option.
BTW, this is for personal use only as I'm not a pro detailer.

You can always add DWG to that order. Very nice glaze.

Great idea. I strongly recommend that glaze.
