ok im in the process of making my own wax..

as of right now i am at 3 waxes, 4-5 oils, 1 special ingredient and 1 solvent..

now for color..i thought it would be cool to do a florescent color that you could use a black light to run over the car to check for any remaining wax... you can use the little 5 inch battery black lights...

what does everyone thing of this? just thought of that today...

I am not into dyes in my waxes but it does sound kinda cool. Not sure I would run out and buy a blacklight if I used it though.

I would hold off on any dyes for now..you never know how they may react with trim plastics...would hate to have Hulk green trim stains...lol....Scott..just try to go as natural as possible at first...

A little advice, get the ratios right to start. Find out how much wax to oil/solvent gives you the texture you are looking for. Then you can start experimenting with different ingredients with greater success. It is easier to change only one ingredient at a time, document extensively and good luck.
