when waxing try not to think of the price of wax your useing . when i use sig series2 , i look at the paintwork when im done and you would think it was a high end wax!!!! very very glossy look . brighter then souveran .....

I also us this wax, I see some people letting some of these caranuba waxes dry for 15 min or so, do you guys let your Pinnacle dry or do you wipe on and wipe off? I wipe on a panel and take it right off like it says to, I have never let it dry to a haze like I used to with Mothers pure caranuba.

    Thanks

    I love it Tom!

Personally, I do the entire vehicle and then start wiping it off where I started. Since it only takes about 5 minutes to wax an entire vehicle, it works good that way. Just my suggestion!

Thanks, I also posted this question over in that thread. Tomorrow, it is time for the second coat of Wolfgang over one coat of Wolfgang and 2 coats of Pinnacle already on the car.

IMO 2 layers of Sig Series II with a shot of FK 425 looks exactly like Swissvax Concorso, my eyes could not tell the difference and on my car I am good at distinguishing between all the many waxes I own.

i dont think swissvax is much of a difference from souveran or sig series 2. just durability is a factor but . i dont want long durabilty. waxing is fun :thumb:

I just cleaned up my wifes Lexus IS250 yesterday. I put on some Wolfgang 2 weeks ago, so I put on some Pinnacle yesterday ( I love the shine it gives and smooth as a baby's behind), cleaned her exhaust with some Adams metal polish, Lexol leather on the inside and optimum on the tires. I have never used any Adams products before but Phil sells them so I tried them, they did a great job. Of course the glass gets Stoners invisible glass, I love that stuff. No pics though, she was happy.

So ultimately in the end, the difference between Sig II and Souveran is just the Sig II is more glossy and the Souveran is more _____?

I have an Alpine White BMW, what do you guys suggest would look better?

I really like the thought of not thinking about the wax for the price of it but what it does and looks like after its applied. Is the durability between the Sig II and Souveran the same?

I see that trhland loves Souveran from all the posts and I too want to jump on the bandwagon. I want good looks and I like applying wax and Souveran or Sig II sounds perfect for me. I just want to know why Souveran costs $30 more than Sig II when the difference is just the looks? Anyone chime in?

And also I just picked up Pete's 53, anyone know what wax that is most similar too?

Natty's Red also gives a really nice gloss, any use both Pinnacle waxes and Natty's Red and have an opinion? Sorry tons of questions, I'm new.

I second that. Generally speaking, the perception of the end results tends to be influenced by the high price we may have paid for the product.
