Hi, I was wondering, witch carnauba wax offer the most durability under 250$ and how long? Same question for the sealant. Thanks
how bout the cheapest wax that lasts a long time..? 3m show car paste wax for me.. lasted me aboout 4 months.. IMHO of course..
Raceglaze 55 is suppose to last 4-5 months. Cost me about $150 delivered to Canada. Autoglyms new Hi Definition Wax supposedly will last even longer and it retails here for $139. Colli 476 is around $20 and lasts longer than 4 months as does Werkstat Acrylic Jett. I'm doing a side by side on a clients car with FMJ and Werkstat and it'll be 5 months at the end of August. Both are still beading as of three weeks ago.
I bought Collinite 476 for less than $9 and it's WICKED! If you want to spend a bit more and see some of the craziest beading, check out Chemical Guys Pete's '53. Lasts a long time!
what about SV shield or Zymol concour/ Titanium. To be honnest i'm looking for something that will provide better look than a sealant (like wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 or jetseal 109)but offer at least 3-4 month durability.
IMHO Zaino Z2p or Z5p give me a very similar look that a good carnuaba does and last much longer. If you top with Z8 it gets even better.
Wax: Collinite 476 (apply it very thin for easy removal) Sealant: Zaino Z5 or Z2 (with ZFX you can apply 3 layers on one day)
well define "last" is it still beading? or is it still blocking out all rain etchings, spots, and bug splat stains? the latter is my standard, which then at least here in SC heat nothing has lasted longer than a month
