    Hello,

I just bought a 2008 GT500KR Shelby in Silver Metallic, I used Danasse Wet Glaze and applied by hand and removed by hand with no issues, I then applied Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jett, holy cow is this stuff impossible to get off.

I am considering buying a Flex or such to make life easier, I need to know the proper pads for, applying and removing the products.

I have Danasse Wet Glaze, Jeffs Werkstatt A.J., Zaino Z2Pro W/ EFX, and for my wax I have Swissvax, Scuderia and Blackfire Midnight Sun.

I assumed they should be applied in that order as well>?

Thank you so much for your help. Matt

I don't own a Flex (I have a rotary and a UDM) but the Danase (which is great) and the Z2 Pro both go on by hand and should be a killer duo. We all want to see that 'Stang! Pics, dude, pics..we're all picture whores here, LOL.:picture::picture::picture:

Great Testimonial!! Just goes to show you how GOOD Jeff's IS!

You won't need a polisher to remove it, from the sounds of it, you will need a belt or disk sander.

Seriously I think I know what has happened, you poured that on to the finish, and now can't buff it out with a MF cloth, correct?

Still no problem, happens to a lot of people, Their is a simple trick I found, If you just spritz the surface with a little Acrylic Jett TRIGGER, it will shine up without any hard rubbing. Now I've also heard you can use a quick detailer to do the same job. But If I was you, I'd just sell the Mustang and get a new one and don't put the whole bottle on the next one.

No I did not, I put it on a foam pad and then applied it to it, it does come off but it is a pain in the butt, and takes many micro towels, and one hell of a long time, by the way, you must NOT know this car, as you cant just go buy another one.

Kick ass ride you got there. Yeah they dont make a whole lot of KR's. I do love the wheels on those cars. I just wish they were made in 20's. That would really be awesome, but the ride would probably suck. I'd drop the JW stuff and get some Optimum Spray wax. Not that JW stuff is bad, I dont think you'd have that kinda problem.

    Awesome car!

    uhhh PAL, I MADE IT!

But I guess since you bought all those products, them my telling you how to remove the extra was a waste.. good luck. Maybe the sander would help.

Yep, broken cf splitter. But I've heard that he bought this car to drive and enjoy it, not sit and admire it. Sad story about his wife.

why would you use acrylic jett over wet glaze? acrylic jett is a sealant. sealant first then glaze.

I have acrylic jett trigger. I just mist the surface, use a MF towel, spread it around, turn over to the dry side, and buff it to a shine.
