My vote would go for Opti-Seal and DG #105. I love Optiseal, it's wipe on walk away application. DG #105 is also nice, little harder application (you have to wipe it off), but better durability.

I like DG 105 but recently have been using FK1 Hi Temp Wax

My vote is for OS also. I will have to try the 1000p wax.

I'm using DP Wheel Glaze by itself with no sealant. It has lasted for me about 3-4 weeks, has a decent shine. I can't compare it to anything else because this is my first wheel protecting product.

Rejex is the name of the product. You can get it at most aviation stores or just search rejex on ebay. It's pretty cheap.

I've found Rejex at Harley stores as well. It's great, you can pick up some Rejex and S100 at the same time!!

which rejex product do I use for the wheels as the protectant?

I already have S100. Harley store isn't exactly close to me.

Anyone have any experience for Rejex being special for wheels in terms of heat /dirt reduction? Seems just like any other sealant, of course different preference/results.

I had been using Zaino sealant on my wheels but it is a bit of a pain to apply. I just picked up some Opti-Seal and am curious to see if the spray on sealant works as well.

Zaino gets my vote. Rejex is also durable but not as durable as the Zaino was for me. Duragloss would probably also work good.

What are you guys that are saying Zaino is difficult doing? It is one of the easiest trouble free products I have ever used. Wipe it on thin, wait a short period and wipe off. Just do the swipe test to verify it is dry. Usually dry within 10 to 15 minutes tops. Even if you apply it too thick it wipes right off within 30 minutes. Are you guys using an old version of Zaino? The new Pro line has been idiot proof for me even when applying too thick. Crazy...

I disagree. My experiences have been much better in terms of durability for rejex. Though it is not as easy to use as Zaino. We used to use it on all our planes before we hired the work out.

Anyone try optiseal on their wheels with sucess?

Yes. I use Opti-seal on wheels. Very easy application and I find that durability is good (seems at least equal to PB Wheel Sealant.)

Interestingly enough, after the OptiSeal dries I've hit it with FK425 and it seems to shed dust a bit better without affecting durability.

UPDATE: (To old thread... Still looking for the magic bullet for wheels)

Just started using FK 1000P on my wheels - Seems to last longer and shed dust/dirt better than the Optiseal or ZCS... Easier cleanup with PW. Still hit it w/ 425 after wash. FWIW, just thought I'd share.
