Hello, One of the nice things about doing this as a hobby is that you get to be picky about how often you detail, and most importantly, what you detail. When I was contacted about this Lexus, I was excited as I hadn't done one of these before. The vehicle is a 2004 model with only 24,000 miles on it. Upon inspection, the paint was looking a bit dull and there was a significant amount of what appeared be either exhaust soot or tar on the rear bumper. Heavy claying needed to be done! But it came out very, enjoy... 1) Wash with Duragloss 901 2) Clay with Clay Magic Blue 3) Wash with Duragloss 901 4) Dry with Sonus Der Wunder towels 5) Menzerna PO85RD w/ Flex on white CCS 6) Duragloss 105 by hand 7) Souveran by hand Enjoy! :thumb:
dude... what did u use to clean the wheels and exhaust tips... I know you did more than what you said in the write up!!!
Thanks for the kind words everyone! What did I not use? I brought along everything I had! In regards to the wheels, I used P21S Wheel Gel since I wanted to be safe with the OZ Wheels. Use ARO on the tires. Used a soapy CG Citrus Wash 'n Gloss to wash the wheels after the P21 Wheel Gel did its job. Then I used Last Touch to dry them off. Then Jetseal 109 to seal it, Adam's VRT on the tires. Nevrdull on the exhaust. That stuff is the best.
