    Hey Guys and Girls,

I picked up my new quad bike today, has anyone on here got one or been on one? Oh, its so much fun, especially off road! :) And we've already got it dirty!! lol.. I can't wait too detail it, it rained earlier when I was out on it, and I need some protection on her as well as some water repellant treatment applied to the mirrors and my visor on my crash helmet, I think a touch of Crystal rock will do the trick on the body and painted bits, once i have removed all the swirls of course!!! Will make it easy to clean in future then, its going to get covered in mud on Saturday, so I will try to detail it very soon.

    Here's a pic...

Im just loading a walk around video of the quad, so as soon as its uploaded I will post it up.

    Kind Regards
    Paul

Looks like a blast for sure!

I haven't ridden in awhile but grew up riding those. The last time I rode mine I was so sore I could hardly move for the next few days. I was at the parents visiting a few weekends ago and they told me to get mine running and use it or get it out of the shed. I think it just needs a good tune up and I'll be back on it.

We used to get covered from head to toe with solid mud. That was fun, I want to go out and ride now.

Nice toy there Paul, I've been on a quad a few times, nothing sporty though but they sure are fun :thumb: specially if you have one with lots of power behind it :wicked:

Now get detailing and show us some pictures ;)

    Dam right!!! :)

For sure, Im itching to take it out now in the dark, the exhaust I got put on sounds frickin nuts, it also wheelies in 1st, 2nd and 3rd! lol

60mph on the road on one, is very exciting and scary at the same time, off road is brilliant fun, forest in the dark could be interesting though.

None yet, but be sure it will get at least 3 layers and another layer everytime I wash it after that, I plan to get it covered in mud with the crap weather were having here in the uk at the moment.

I even took the scooby off road the other day, got covered in mud, but with the CR wax, it all came off perfectly with a quick jet wash at 30c!!!

Don't think I will be using the jet wash on the quad though, we have a different cleaning method for the quad in mind.

I have a couple. In no time you'll be jumping that bad boy. The fastest one i have ridden was my neighbors at 70. i think he has a polaris with ktm engine.

WD40 is a great protectant for the engine and driveline such as axles and chain. just spray it on an wipe the excess off..... its great.

whenever its gets dirty just rinse off the engine and associated parts and they look new. of course another application is in order too afterwards.
