2001 Land Rover Discovery - A2D To be honest I’m trying to stir clear of full details due to the fact in my area the profit margin just isn’t there. I can honestly make maybe $300 and spend 12-14 hours on one vehicle or make close to $500 a day doing (5) $75 Wash-N-Waxes and (1) $125 Mini Detail…. I don’t know, but these restoration jobs are killing me! Oh and these vehicles are Bi$% to work around with all the moldings….. Enough venting onto the work. Quick inspections noted that M105 edge (green wool) was going to be needed on some of the light to moderate blemishes. After that I would have to do a SIP (edge green) finishing polish 106ff (edge blue) and then onto DG105 (edge white) for protection and LSP *All polishing via Flex DA. The interior received a MEGS APC wipe down followed by a trim shine spray down and leather and vinyl protectant on the plastic and seats. The mats were extracted and the glass was cleaned with ZEP streak free glass cleaner. Tires and moldings received MEGS ALL-SEASON and wells got a shot of MEGS HD via spray gun. BEFORES AFTERS
Such nice work! My best friend drives one of these and it was a pleasure to work on... Lots of paint to cover though, especially the roof...
