Sorry about the pictures i was playing with iPhoto and ****ed them up Lexol: After reading about lexol on DB i was turned on to lexol. Previously used Zaino but curiosity hit us all. At $10 for 500ml ($1=50ml) x 2. it is a cheap leather cleaner and the ability to pick it up at autozone is a positive. The downside is the cleaner is a gel so you tend to use more IMO. It leaves the shiniest finish of the three cleaners i am reviewing. And when you run your hand against the surface it is a bit slippery. But it does make a good goto leather cleaner. The best OTC leather product. Zaino: In the past my goto leather is no longer due to the shipping costs. I think zaino has a $9 flat rate. So it add to the price when you only need to order leather products. Z9 (cleaner) for 250ml is $9 ($1=27ml) and for Z10 (conditioner) is $11 for 250ml ($1=23ml). Zaino leaves a better finish ( more matte) then lexol. The biggest upside is the smell. When you use it it makes your whole car smell like new! Leather Masters: i recieved the starter kit from phil yesterday and i used it on the front seats on my dads denali and lexol in the back. i asked my dad to come out and explain the difference to me. I just told him two different cleaners were used. he explained to me the leather master treated seats were more creamy and the leather was much softer. Imo i agreed and it left a nice matte finish. This left the nicest finish of the three the only downside is it dosn't smell like Zaino but an upside b/c it dosn't leave an odd smell like Lexol. Price for 3 piece kit is $50 for 3 250ml. ( $1 = 15ml).
Nice review. My .02 - Cut the LM Strong 1:1 with water to make a gentle cleaner and go to the strong if that doesn't work. I also put the cleaner in a small foaming sprayer like a lot of the hand soaps are coming in now....makes great foam. I'm very satisfied with the LM line, Zaino seems like another good choice.
Thanks i should do that No i haven't but i plan on it. I have been reading it may not be good for leathers?
I think that the Duragloss leather cleaner and conditioner are good choices. They remind me of the Zaino leather combo a lot. To me they smell the same. Others says they smell a bit different. You can purchase the cleaner in gallon jugs and the conditioner in quart bottles for excellent prices. If you order directly from DG you get a low fixed shipping rate also.
very nice write up really couldn't explain it better myself. leather master is approved on 90% plus of the leather furniture we buy for company and home use. They are also the main center for training people on leather restoration, maintaing, and repair. That shows me a lot as they know leather.
Thanks You. Anybody looking to buy leather masters order from Phil. I ordered for the first time from him and i was so pleased all order from now on are going to be from DD INTERIOR CARE
